In the seventh season of the DEAD FILES, which debuted on the last day of the week at 10 pm ET/P, the former NYC Homicide Detective Steve DiSchiavi, as well as psychic medium Amy Allan, head back out on the road to assist homeowners in distress and fear as they unravel the past and mystery buried in an entirely new set of haunted places.
In keeping with their unique and highly effective formula, DiSchiavi and Allan examine each case in isolation to ensure the authenticity of their respective findings. As a psychic medium, Allan communicates to the deceased, discovering the layers of paranormal activity and often identifying spirits associated with the area.
Using his detective skills, DiSchiavi investigates each case using a more traditional method by interviewing witnesses, experts from the local area, and historians, as well as searching through records to determine the history of a place, no matter how obscure or dark it might be. They keep their distance from each other until the final episode of each investigation. At this point, they make shocking discoveries to the homeowners in the dramatic finale of each episode.
Based on her own experiences with the supernatural, Allan then provides much-needed guidance to every client to assist them in regaining the normality of their lives.
After the start of season seven last weekend with a trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the group will travel across New York, Pennsylvania, Oregon, and Illinois in the coming weeks as part of their ongoing efforts to assist those who live in areas with supernatural issues.
Physical medium and paranormal researcher Amy Allan uses her abilities to talk to the dead, often taking on the role and recalling their lives. Amy’s fascination with mystical phenomena started at the age of 4 when she claimed to be suffering from “shadow individuals” in the shadows of her Arvada, CO, home. Since then she’s been on a quest to discover the mysteries.
Their extraordinary abilities of Allan were studied and tested by top parapsychologists. They have also been tested and borne out during the six previous seasons of THE DEAD FILE. She has been working with private investigators as well as police departments and has carried out hundreds of investigations, both in private homes as well as businesses. Amy was a psychology student at the University of Arizona and was trained by famous psychologist William Roll.
